Our History

tex-care-medical Tex-Care Medical is the Medical Products Division of Carriff Engineered Fabrics Corporation. Established in 1995, as a Division of Flynt Amtex, Inc., Tex-Care brings together a unique knowledge base that fully understands the rigorous requirements of the medical device industry and also leverages the latest manufacturing technologies to provide the greatest value to its customers. Tex-Care specializes in the manufacture, sale and distribution of circular knitted components for the medical garment industry, as well as a broad range of textile based medical products for acute care, orthopedic, personal protective equipment, dental and veterinary supply chains.

Quality System

Tex-Care Medical is an FDA Registered Medical Device Manufacturer and is 21 CFR 820 compliant. Tex-Care is also ISO 13485:2016 certified for the Manufacture and Distribution of textile related products that have applications as medical devices and components of medical devices. 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485 are internationally recognized quality standards which state the requirements of the Quality Management System (QMS) for the design and manufacture of Medical Devices. Additionally, Tex-Care Medical’s orthopedic product line carries the CE Mark for distribution in the European Union. Adhering to these standards assures both domestic and international customers of Tex-Care’s commitment to quality.

Location

Texcare Medical is located in Burlington, North Carolina and shares the same facilities as its manufacturing partner, Flynt Amtex Inc. As a result of this shared facility arrangement, Texcare has complete oversight of the design, manufacture and quality control of their products.
